MISSION & HISTORY.
We are currently living through the early days of a major revolution in communication, media, and culture. The death of cinema as we know it, is upon us. The only thing that is certain, is that AI will be used, and the industry will change as a result.
AI has already started making an impact in every industry. AI-generated paintings are sold for millions of dollars and computer-generated songs can make it to the charts . AI is set to revolutionize the way films are made.
Right now, AI isn’t perfect. However, in the next decade or less, AI will be able to generate complete movies without the need for human intervention.
What would it mean to live in a world where a large percentage of stories are not just shaped by nonhuman intelligence, but generated by it?
We want to create awareness surrounding AI's current abilities in relation to the film industry, inform audiences on the constant updates of AI in the film industry, as well as any strikes occurring, and how to help.
We wish to encourage audiences to think about what the future of cinema could be, especially if regulations are not put in place or strikes aren’t supported.
